Mochi Making and Sampling
Mochi is Japanese rice cake made of mochigome a short-grain glutinous rice. This rice is steamed and pounded into paste and molded into the round shape. In Japan it is traditionally eaten on New Years Day. The Centre makes and sells mochi. Pre order mochi for members only and also enjoy mochi tasting with various sauces and ozone (mochi in soup).
