Thursday Drop-In

Since 1985, a group of our Senior ladies have been meeting at the Centre on Thursdays from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm. Rather than sit at home, members were invited to take their lunch and go to the Cultural Centre to watch TV, play cards, knit, crochet, or just talk and visit. They have continued to do since 1985 although the composition of the group has changed throughout the years, and now they come to socialize while working on their own knitting and crocheting projects.
